Thank you for making that video! It was a lot of fun seeing the chasen-toshi and chasen-susugi broken down into small parts and explained. I practice a different school of tea, so it's always interesting to see a different 流派 (Koheiさんのは表千家ですね?)
ReplyDeleteYou must have a lot of patience to explain that so thoroughly and well.
Soruriさんすごい。当たりです。表で習っています。
Delete私は他のたたみ方を見ても、「違うなー」って思うだけで、どこの流派かまで言い当てることできません^^;
確かにお茶会とかで他の流派の方のお点前を見せていただくのは大変興味深いですよね。
Hello,
ReplyDeleteIs this done in front of the guest or prior to the ceremony?
thank you!
Hi, thank you for watching!
DeleteYou do it in front of the guest.
The five steps that you do in the ceremony are;
1.Bring the utensils into the tea room
2.Purify the utensils
3.Make the tea
4.Clean and put the utensils together
5.Leave the room with utensils
